Hi !
I had bought a modem in garage sale, and the owner said it is a Hayes compatible fax/modem v.34 28.8 using Rockwell chip. It worked well with my Telix until my friend told me to use Excalibur BBS software. When i config my modem, it did
write the ini. string into modem non-volative RAM and thing go in different way.
After i login my school's modem pool, the modem disconnects the line after 30
mins. I did try many times but the same thing still happened.
My question is :
1. Is there any driver for Hayes compatible modem to get rid of the ini string ?is there some good web page for config or ini for hayes compatible modems ?
2. If some one experienced same thing, could you tell me how to get it done .
